Fruity Pebbles Banana Bread

By Kim Carr Feb 23, 2021 | 12:04 PM
Today is National Banana Bread Day. A couple of weeks ago my son and I were looking for something new to bake. We like to do baking on the weekends when we can’t get outside to play. We have already made tons of cookies, cakes, brownies  ect. His favorite fruit right now happens to be banana. So My husband suggest make banana bread. Now I have made banana bread before and it’s pretty easy and taste great.
This recipe though just took the bread to a whole new level. The Fruity Pebbles really give it more of a fruity goodness along with the bananas. Now I will suggest eating this when it is warm and maybe with a little bit of butter spread on.
Thanks to SweetRecipeas.com for sharing their great recipe with all of is. They do make note in this recipe that yes you really should use a whole Tablespoon of baking powder. It also turns out the best if you use full fat buttermilk. If you can’t seem to find it, I know sometimes it is hit or miss in the stores. You can use a full fat sour cream instead. If you want to make it a little healthier you can also use full fat greek yogurt instead.
