Last night Matt James finally started to date the women. He had a couple of one-on-one dates and a group date. But because of the record breaking number of women this season, not everyone was part of the dates.
One-On-One Date
Bri was lucky enough to score the first date with Matt. They ended up riding some ATV’s through the wooded area of the resort. Even did a little mudding. Then Matt felt the need to chop some wood, which was completely set up. The wood was already presplit and it wasn’t the right size of axe to use. I mean who really chops wood without a shirt on. Anyways they then ended up spending some time in a hot tub talking. The two really bonded over their life stories. In the end she did walk away with a rose.
Group Date
I don’t know about you but I am not a fan of the dates where they have to dress up in wedding attire. The ladies ended up dressing up in wedding dresses and veils. They did a photoshoot with Matt. Then Chris Harrison came out and started almost the “Hunger Games.” The women were throwing paint at each other in hopes to have extra time with Matt. The red team won. Mari won the “MVBA (Most Valuable Bride Award)”.
Jessenia had some time with Matt and she talked about her infidelity issues, then ended up kissing him. Lauren talked about how she is looking for a man of faith. The group date rose ended up going to Lauren.
One-On-One Date
Sarah was the last one to score a date with Matt this week. They ended up getting into a vintage plane and flew around the area of the resort and even flying above the rest of the women. Matt has said that he is looking for the women to open up to him and be personal. He could tell that Sarah was holding back after their plane ride. So when the dinner came, Sarah used that time to talk with Matt and to get a little more personal with him. She told him that her dad has ALS. That she quit her job to be her dad’s full-time caretaker. The doctors said he had 2-5 years to live, he is going on 5 years right now. Her dad did tell her to go and find love. Matt was happy that she opened up and she walked away with a rose as well.
Cocktail Party
Last week Abigail was the lucky one to score the first impression rose. She wanted to let Matt know that she is still here. The two came up with a way to communicate with each other when they are around others.
Then we saw Marylynn show how upset she was that she didn’t get a date this week, and Matt cheered her up with an orchid, her favorite flower.
“Queen” Victoria started to bring some drama to the house. First off her dress reminded me of a bad 80s movie prom dress. She made it known that she had been sleeping on the the sofa because of Marylynn crying at night. She said that she wasn’t going to talk to Matt about how “Toxic” Marylynn is but she wanted to let him know before things go further. When Marylynn came to talk to Victoria about her conversation with Matt. Victoria was so rude and wouldn’t let Marylynn talk and walked away. Victoria even talked to the cameras that Marylynn was bullying her, which I didn’t feel there was any at all. She just wouldn’t talk things out. Tons of the girls that still didn’t get to have time with Matt were starting to get upset, because this drama was taking up time.
Rose Ceremony
Sadly eight girls were sent home. Those that are staying are Pieper, Kit, Magi, Rachael, Abigail, Chelsea, Jessenia, Katie, Serena C… she was the last one to get a rose due to Sarah passing out. L
Next week it seems Sarah will be okay and they will continue with more dates. We see Victoria is really making all the girls upset.
