Last night season 25 of The Bachelor kicked off with Matt James looking for love. He made history for being the first African American “Bachelor”. That of course wasn’t the only thing special about last night. This is his first time being part of Bachelor Nation as he was casted originally for Clare’s season but then got promoted to being the Bachelor. PLUS, a record breaking 32 women kicked off the season. The show this time around is also being filmed at the Nemacolin Resort in Farmington Pennsylvania.
The women coming out to meet Matt for the first time pulled some crazy antics. Magi gets the award for coming the longest distance all the way from Ethiopia.
Anna brought a survival kit for Matt that included some “red flags” he can use on the women
MJ knows the way to a man heart is through his stomach. She drove a pizza delivery car and handed him a pizza.
Alana may have seen one too many Disney movies. She brought some spaghetti and tried a “Lady and the Tramp” style kiss.
Katie is the one that left I think everyone speechless by showing up with an adult toy. Now if you were watching this last night you saw they black boxed the item out, but you know exactly what it was.
“Queen” Victoria showed up wearing a tiara and a white dress. She even went to go sit on a throne.
Abigail is the one to watch this season. Not only did she get the first kiss of the season she also got the first impression rose. Matt really seemed taken by her.
Sadly 8 women did not make it past the first night: Alicia, Amber, Carolyn, Cassandra, Emani, Kimberly and Saneh.
Next week we get our first round of dates, and it looks like we are in for some wedding fun.
