Bachelorette Recap For 12/14/20

By Kim Carr Dec 15, 2020 | 12:58 PM
Last night’s episode was packed leading up to tonight’s Hometown dates. Tayshia picked her final four suitors and the “men told all” with Chris Harrison… but not before picking up at last week’s cliffhanger. Here’s what happened:
Chris Harrison made his return after being gone from dropping his son off at college. JoJo Fletcher filled in for a couple of weeks. Tayshia went on a date with Blake, but the date was short lived. The two visited reiki and crystal master to help strengthen their relationship, doing some breathing exercises and making a lot of eye contact. Sadly that wasn’t enough for their relationship as he was sent home.
Tayshia headed to the men’s suite to break up with Riley, too. She told him it meant a lot to her when he opened up, but she didn’t want to lead him on with the hometown dates.
At the cocktail party and rose ceremony. Bennett ruffled everyone’s feathers by telling the guys he professed his love for Tayshia and then got a note saying she wanted him at the rose ceremony. Not everyone was convinced, and right on cue, Chris showed up to let them know there wouldn’t be a cocktail party – just the roses.
Zac, Ivan and Brendan all got roses – meaning they’ll be going on hometown dates. Which means we said goodbye to Bennett and Noah.
Men Tell All
Clare and Dale were at the reunion after getting engaged earlier in the season… and Yosef, Bennett, Noah, Blake and Riley put Tayshia in the hot seat about their missed connections.
Noah revealed he actually read the book Bennet gave him – you know, the one on “emotional intelligence.” Bennett apologized for their feud, but Noah made it clear they’re not going to be buds anytime soon.
Yosef doubled down on his stance on that strip dodgeball group date, refusing to apologize to Clare for saying she humiliated the guys. When grilled by Chris on whether he’d like someone speaking to his daughter that way, Yosef said he’d hope his daughter would be “called out” for acting like Clare.
Tayshia shot down rumors that producers planned for her to take over as “Bachelorette” for Clare from the beginning. She joked that she wished it was a setup so she had more time to prepare!
Tayshia admitted to putting walls up with Blake because of his lingering feelings for Clare when she arrived.
Tonight is the Hometown dates!  Here’s a look at Tayshia’s final four suitors:
  • Ben, 30, Army veteran from Venice, California
  • Brenda, 30, commercial roofer from Milford, Massachusetts
  • Ivan, 28, aeronautical engineer from Dallas, Texas
  • Zac C, 36, addiction specialist from Haddonfield, New Jersey
