Back-To-School Traditions You Should Be Doing This Year

By Kim Carr Aug 14, 2020 | 3:24 PM
I know that things are still up in the air with how things are going to be going with school starting up here. If the schools are doing virtual learning, full in house learning or a hybrid. However, no matter what the end result will be with it comes to the school year starting back up, make sure you keep alive those Back-To-School Traditions. These are going to be last memories that your kids can have and talk about with their kids someday.  Ideas to do this year.
Make A Special Day – Pick a day before the school year starts up to make it a full day just for your child. If you have more than one child, give each of them a special day. A day where it’s all about them, and doing their favorite things.
First Day Of School Outfit – This was always one of my favorite things to do. Picking out a cool new outfit to wear. They can even match it to a mask. Or be the coolest looking kid in their virtual classroom
Take Those First Day Photos – This is a HUGE one. No matter if the kids are doing virtual learning, or not. Having these photos to look back on how the year started is fun. You can even make a fun first day of school sign to go with it. Then compare it with the end of the year photo.

Huge T-Shirt – This is a fun one to do with the kiddos who are fist starting school this year. Get a plan white t-shirt that would fit an adult. Write a funny or encouraging note on it. Then take your kid’s photo every year in this shirt and by the time they graduate they have a great keepsake.
