When I was younger we played a game called “Ding-Dong Ditch.” Basically, we would ring the doorbell and just run away and wait for them to answer and see no one is there. Mostly we did this to the boys we liked in grade school.
There has been a group of people that started doing this type of event. However, they are trying to bring happiness to people. They are called “Wine Fairies.” They have been leaving some booze and even treats on people’s doorsteps.
The mom who started this wanted to spread joy by leaving bottles of wine on the doorsteps of friends, neighbors and more. They have a Facebook group that has over 70,000 members. The members even dress the part when they are delivering. They put on wings, a tutu and even had a magic wand. They leave the goodies on the front step, ring the doorbell and run. Yes there is even a Wisconsin Wine Fairies Group!
