Ways To Beat The Summer Backyard Boredom With Kids

Typically late to early August is when kids tend to be bored in the summer. This year with the kids being home nonstop since March, I think that boredom has kicked in a little earlier. Here are some ideas to help the kids beat the summertime boredom.

Take a mini-road trip to a new destination in your town, city or state.

Make homemade bouncy balls.

Come up with new recipes to try by the campfire like s’more cones.

Make some Kool-aid slushies

Get the slip-n-slide out, and put shaving cream on it then slide

Paint rocks and then leave them all around town
