I did tune in to the Emmy Awards Sunday night, but not until later in the show. I found the opening skit on Youtube and it is well worth the watch, especially if you are a fan of those musical numbers they do on Glee. It is very well done and pretty funny, too!

Wisconsin residents have until September 1 to sign up for the state's no-call list to block phone calls from telemarketers. Those who sign up before then will have their phone numbers put on the list starting October 1. The next chance to sign up won't place numbers on the list until January 1. The list is open to home and cell phone numbers, but registration must be renewed every two years. Anyone who has forgotten when they signed up can sign up again just to be safe.

The state Department of Trade and Consumer Protection says the latest deadline is especially important for college students who may have new phone numbers they wish to put on the list.

People can sign up by calling 1-866-966-2255 or over the Internet.

I was very happy that one of my birthday presents turned out to be a George Foreman Grill! I used that old one a lot and still can't believe I accidentally melted it in the oven. Fortunately, the new one is quite a bit larger so I don't think I could store it in the oven anyway.
