Ronnie Milsap will kick off his 76 for 76 Tour — commemorating his 76th birthday — Wednesday, January 16 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The Country Music Hall of Famer’s The Duets record — which features Kacey MusgravesJason AldeanLuke BryanLittle Big TownWillie NelsonDolly PartonGeorge Strait and more — follows that Friday.

Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Chesnut died Saturday at the ago of 87. He wrote “A Good Year for the Roses” for George Jones and “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” for Elvis Presley and Travis Tritt, among other notable tunes.
