The 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue dropped yesterday with three cover models – Tyra Banks, Alex Morgan, and Camille Kostek. Each lady got her own cover for the 56th installment, and this year’s theme is “Shattering Perceptions.” And that makes sense for Tyra, who was last on the cover 22-years ago.
Tyra came out of retirement for her third cover, which was shot by Laretta Houston in Great Exuma, Bahamas. Ben Watts photographed Morgan – a US National Women’s Soccer team star and Olympic gold medalist – in St. Lucia. And Josie Clough took pictures of 2018 SI Swimsuit Model Search winner and SI Swimsuit Rookie Kostek in Kangaroo Island, South Australia.
SI Swimsuit Editor MJ Day said, “Between these three women and the 31 additional that grace SI Swimsuit 2019, the message is clear. Beauty is synonymous with a lot more than just a pretty face.”
