Blake Shelton’s Friends and Heros Tour 2019

Blake Shelton’s Friends and Heros Tour 2019

On Saturday, March 16th Blake Shelton brought his Friends and Heros Tour to the Resch Center in Green Bay. It was almost 4 hours of great country music. Blake brought along The Bellamy Brothers, John Anderson, Trace Adkins along with special guest Lauren Alaina. They all played to a SOLD OUT crowd!

Lauren opened this show with a few of her songs. There was point in her performance where her mom came to the front of the stage to hold her hand as she sang because Lauren was having a tough time getting through her song “Three.” Some may not know but her mom and step dad own a bar in Rhinelander. Here are some videos of her performances.

Blake then took center stage for a fun filled 3 hours. He kicked things off with Neon Light. He had a great mix of slow, older and new songs during his set list. Blake did have some fun with the crowd during the show.  At one point Blake reviled that it wasn’t until he was 13 years old that he didn’t know our state was called Wisconsin. He thought it was “West Consin” and “East Consin.”

Now this was called his Friends and Heros Tour. And during his set he brought out his friends and heros. First up was John Anderson. John played three songs. He kicked off with “Seminole Wind”, which got the whole place cheering and singing along. He also played “Money in the Bank” and “Swinging”.

Blake came back out to sing some more of his songs, then it was The Bellamy Brothers turn to wow the crowd. They kicked off their set with “Let Your Love Flow”. They also played “Do You Love As Good As You Look” and “Redneck Girl”.

Blake was then took over again with some more of his hits like “Drink On It” and my favorite “Ol’ Red”.

Trace Adkins was next up to sing some of his big songs. He kicked it off with “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk”. Then he sang the tear jerkier “You’re Gonna Miss This” along with “Ladies Love Country Boys”. Blake came out and did “Hillbilly Bone with Trace.

Then something really awesome happened. Blake brought all of the his friends and heros out to do a sing off. They all picked one of their big hits to sing, and they were going to let the crowd decide who the winner was. The Bellamy Brothers did “If You Said You Had a Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me”, Trace Adkins did “Every Light In The House Is On” and John Anderson did “Straight Tequila Night”. This part of the show I thought was the best because this will probably be the only time you will see all these artists together and doing something like this. Even Blake was like a kid on stage being able to sit around with these guys and sing like they were almost around a campfire.

Blake did an encore with “Boys ‘Round Here” and “God Gave Me You”

When all was said and done there was over 35 songs through out the night. This tour was very special due to the fact that there were only 18 stops with this tour. And something like this probably won’t ever happen again.
